What happens to the material?
Light bulbs are disassembled by accredited processors. Materials that are environmentally hazardous are removed and treated in the appropriate manner. Recyclable materials are separated and directed toward the appropriate channels
Light bulbs can also be dropped off in electronic equipment stores as well as at accredited recipients of hazardous materials. Further information can be found on the website of the Recycling Fund or by phoning the Fund.
