What happens to the material?
The material is sold at the reuse market at the recycling center at Sævarhöfði. Any profits that may result from the sale of such materials will be allocated to charities, in much the same way as the profits of the sale of furnishings at Góði hirðirinn in Fellsmúli. The market is open mondays to saturdays from 12:00-17:00.
The market's Facebook page contains more information on what is available (only in Icelandic).
