Vehicle batteries are to be placed on the table in container No. 16. SORPA employees will handle the sorting.
Batteries from electric cars are not accepted. These are to be handed in to recognised receivers of hazardous waste.
What happens to the material?
Batteries are sent to recognised processors where they are sorted and treated in the correct manner and sent for destruction or recycling.
