Unsorted waste – from individuals, shops and similars Share
Not accepted
Loads that contain unsorted waste, e.g. large metal items or others that need handling at the receiving and sorting plant at Gufunes before being able to direct the materials in question to the correct channels.
Note that it is, however, usually more economical to bring sorted waste. If the cargo contains a type of waste that falls under a more expensive tariff category, the cargo goes into that tariff category.
What happens to the material?
Materials are sorted on the floor of the receiving and sorting plant of SORPA at Gufunes and directed to the proper channels.
